I have an extensive background in sports management / coaching within triathlon. I currently hold Level 1 and Level 11 Triathlon New Zealand Coaching Qualifications, I am a current Triathlon New Zealand High Performance Carded Coach, Team Manager Sydney 2000 Olympics, Coach Commonwealth Games Manchester 2002, Triathlon New Zealand Team Manager ITU World Triathlon Championships 1992 – 1997, 1999 – 2000, 2002 – 2003. Awarded Taranaki Sports Coach Of The Year Award 2004/05 and Prime Minister Coaching Scholarship 2005.

I Coach New Zealand triathletes Clark Ellice and Shane Reed, both current ITU Elite triathletes who both represented New Zealand at the 2006 ITU World Championships, Lausanne, Switzerland.

Along with Clark & Shane who are both ranked in the ITU World Rankings top 40, I Coach top New Zealand Ironman Bryan Rhodes along with 20 New Zealand Age Group representatives.

In my stable are up and coming juniors Tama Christensen, Ben Riley, Daniel Hine and Izzy Light. They are joined by Hamish Johnson who had two top five ITU International Races placings in 2006.

Along with triathletes who live and train in Australia , USA , Germany , Great Britain , Singapore and Switzerland I Coach from the weekend beginner to the worlds best.

Over the years I have also coached many triathletes who have achieved national honors and New Zealand representation.

I have co-ordinated coaching camps for Tri NZ in New Zealand and overseas and have done coaching seminars in China, Cayman Islands, and the United Kingdom.
